font-size: 12pt;\">The Mathematical Society of France (SMF) has instituted two prizes for distinguishing remarkable actions in the service of pedagogy and the dissemination of mathematics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The first one is: The Ferrand Prize for Educational Innovation in Mathematics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">While the second one is: The D\u2019Alembert Prize for the Dissemination of Mathematics to a Wide Audience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">A statement issued by SMF indicates that the two prizes are worth \u20ac2,000 each, and are awarded every two years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
