Math and Entertainment course

Isfahan House of Mathematics has been holding math and entertainment courses for preschool students of 2nd, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade since 2016. In this course, students will be introduced to various mathematical concepts through games and grammar activities. Geometric activities designed in this course are done by working with geometric shapes, cuneiform, tiling, space visualization cubes, and paper and scissors to provide students with various concepts such as geometric transformations (symmetry, transition, rotation), understanding geometric shapes ( Pay attention to the similarities and differences of the shapes and identify their features), measurement, spatial visualization (different views of a volume) and..

Math activities are also done by playing with dominoes, dice, number cards, number plates, and so on. In these activities, students practice arithmetic addition and subtraction and share their strategies through group work.

In addition, activities for modeling, game analysis, finding game strategies, logic puzzles are also included in this course. In addition to focusing on different concepts in mathematics, this course enhances some of the skills needed to practice mathematics, including: accuracy and concentration, problem solving, creativity, reasoning, logic, discourse, tooling, and teamwork.
